How Does It Work?

First, you get personalized attention to select the package that meets your needs and your budget.  You will work directly with Stephanie to determine what you need and how Purple Pen Writing Services can help.  You will never be pressured to purchase more than you need and you will always be treated fairly and courteously.

After you have selected the resume package that satisfies your needs, you will fill out a specially designed questionnaire on your own time and at your own convenience.  This questionnaire will help you to quickly and conveniently communicate your value to Stephanie.  You don’t know your own value?  You don’t believe you offer what employers want?  This questionnaire is full of prompts that will help you learn more about yourself and your value!  Stephanie will also meet with customers in-person or over the telephone to fill out this questionnaire.  This time will be billed.

You will also answer questions about style and taste.  This will help Stephanie select a layout and format for your resume that expresses you in a unique, but professional manner.  This is your resume.  Everything about it will communicate YOU in a way employers understand and appreciate!

After the questionnaire is returned to Stephanie and payment is received, Stephanie will take all the information you’ve provided and transform it into a marketing document that communicates your value to your future employer.  Within 48 hours (up to 72 hours for Premium or Ultimate packages), this document will be ready for proofing.

When you get this first copy back, take some time look it over.  What do you like?  What don’t you like?  Answer the questions provided with the document to determine your level of satisfaction.  If you’re satisfied, you can start using the resume right away!  If not, Stephanie will revise the document to your preferences.  Either way please be sure to answer those quick questions!  Serving you is Purple Pen Writing Service’s top priority.  The best way to improve our service is to get feedback from customers!

You will have noticed that each package comes with a range of prices.  At first glance, that might seem unfair.  Take a moment to consider the entry-level employee or the college graduate.  Now think about the executive with 20 years of experience and two dozen positions (between employer changes and promotions) under his or her proverbial belt.  Now those ranges make a bit more sense and seem fair for customer and provider alike!

You will also notice that there is an hourly fee of $50 per hour.  Some customers will request special services.  For example, a discouraged employee who needs some extra help preparing for an interview may wish to contract specially designed services to satisfy that need.  Or perhaps a customer may need help with a networking letter.  These services are available on a case-by-case basis.  An hourly charge may apply or a flat fee may be negotiated on the basis of a time estimate.
